My Characters
This is a page for documenting and describing all the characters that I personally identify with. There are two categories for these characters. The first of these is Alters. Since I identify as an endogenic plural system, I have several alters that I primarily identify with for expressing myself. Plurality is a a complicated issue, and I highly recommend that curious readers visit the website More Than One for more information on this topic. The second category of characters that I personally identify with are Original Characters. These describe characters that I might imagine myself as in roleplays or stories, but do not identify with in the same way that I do for my alters. These characters are still important to me, but they serve a different purpose than my alters do.

Urielle Undhu she/her/they/them/it/its
Urielle is a changeling witch, whose defauly form is that of an adult human transwoman. Their signature spell is known as Severance, which is able to sever the metaphysical bonds between two entities (i.e if one subject is being hypnotically controlled by another subject). However, this spell can only be performed using Urielle's special pair of scissors. Urielle's passive magical energy can also bend reality around them at random (causing nosebleeds, summoning moths, etc.) and gives them a natural ability for scarily accurate Tarot readings. Additionally, they can resurrect from deaths that only involve minor bodily harm, such as choking or poisoning, but not from major bodily harms such as decapitation or mutilation. Aside from practicing magic spells, Urielle’s main interests include researching topics such as biodiversity and psychopharmacology.
Urielle spent most of their life assuming that they were simply a normal human until around the age of twenty years old, when they discovered the truth about their identity. From that point on, they used their fae heritage to begin practicing witchcraft and developing their own magic skills. Unfortunately, their wild experimentation and lack of refined ability resulted in several misadventures that mutated their changeling form. When under stress, Urielle's body will begin to uncontrollably shift in unpredictable ways, such as growing extra eyes in random places or limbs turning from flesh into those of a ball-jointed mannequin doll. As is typical for users of magic, Urielle’s posseses a unique magical aura connecting them to all other users (and vice versa) via ley lines, which unfortunately has the risk of attracting more powerful magic practitioners who will occasionally break weaker entities into obedient servants for their own enjoyment.
Tulip Moynihan she/her/they/them
Tulip is a communist puppygirl and the embodiment of pure unbridled Freudian Id. Hedonistic to an almost unsettingly degree, she is obsessed with the pleasures of the material realm, whether its a late-night yeeros trip or licking the feet of a beautiful woman. She drinks at least two caffeinated energy drinks a day in order to maintain a constant level of intense energy. She can also be comically absent-minded or easily distracted at times. Somehow, Tulip balances this with a fanatic devotion to religion, to the point of being considered one of the greatest living scholars of theology. One of Tulip’s proudest achievements is beating a minor deity in a debate on its own religion. Aside from being an avid reader of theology in general, Tulip specialises in literature regarding Christian socialism. In particular, she focuses on the works of thinkers such as John Ruskin, Jacques Ellul, and Leo Tolstoy.
Layla Sunshower she/her
Layla is a young adult transwoman with the emotional disposition of a perpetually scared child. She is constantly accompanied by her three Blåhaj (shark plushies), all of which are possessed by a distributed magical consciousness tasked with protecting Layla at all times. As a result of this possession, all three of her plushies are effectively sentient and have access to both telepathy and telekinesis. Unfortunately, their protection often veers into invasive over-protection, with the consciousness mostly resembling the Jungian Devouring Mother, using a mixture of psychologial manipulation and magical hypnosis to keep Layla in a regressed mental state as often as possible. This often occurs during sexual activity between Layla and her Blåhaj - Layla is a rabid plushophile and will quickly submit to being both mentally and physically dominated by her three plushies. She is also easily distracted and pacified by videos from her favorite YouTube content creators.
When not trapped in a regressed mental state, Layla still has a generally immature disposition, but more akin to an edgy teenager than a scared child. Her special interest is urban planning, with a distinct focus on walkable cities and public transport. Accordingly, her favorite mode of transport is taking the train, and she will often eschew quicker travel routes in order to spend more time on a train if possible. She typically wears dark clothes, such as a black shirt and navy blue jeans, as well as a synthetic flower crown with white paper petals. Her music tastes primarily include indietronica and folktronica bands such as Mid-Air Thief, Animal Collective, and Low Roar. Layla also has minor pyrokinetic powers, but is unable to practice or develop them in her regressed state. These powers can naturally emerge if Layla is under an intense immense of stress, but will be violently sporadic as a result, guided by Layla’s unconscious primal emotions rather than consciously controlled.
Lexi Morningstar he/him/they/them
Nobody is quite sure exactly what Lexi is. At first glance, appears to be a young adult human, but has bewildering supernatural abilities despite no magic training, such as being able to replicate Urielle's Severance spell and being able to detect the presence of invisible entities. He also possesses a strange steel sword passed down through his family, which can be used to channel magic during combat and perform deadly spells (such as the aforementioned Severence spell). Despite ostensibly appearing as natal male, he has what appears to be top surgery scars and does not explicitly identify as male. He was cursed with minor lycanthropy at some point in his life, causing him to transform into an anthropomorphic wolf on nights of the full moon while still retaining most of his mental humanity. Rumors amongst his closest friends suggest he changed his name to Lexi from Tobias at some point in his life, but nothing else is known about him or his past beyond this. He often wears black button up shirts decorated with white floral patterns, and always has his hair dyed either dark purple or neon orange.
Lexi lives in an isolated corner of the world, away from large cities. He primarily works as a mercenary, travelling between remote rural towns and defending them from supernatural monsters. In particular, the powerlines between these towns often act as conduits for what local residents refer to as “powerline demons”, electricity-based serpentine lifeforms from a higher dimension that will randomly materialise into reality and attack any nearby travellers. Although the paths between towns are not particularly busy, they are regularly used by traders and merchants who are tasked with exhchanging goods between towns. In the interest of preserving economic activity, mercernaries with supernatural powers (such as Lexi) are hired by a coalitional guild to patrol the routes and destroy any powerline demons they encounter. In addition to his work as a mercenary, Lexi also has a deep passion for psychoanalytic literature. Between work shifts, he typically spends hours silently reading the works of authors such as Jacques Lacan, Georges Bataille, and Marquis de Sade.
Mykhaila Kaczynski she/her
Mykhaila, more commonly known by her nickname Myka, was born as a citizen of a repressive fascist country. After being arrested in her late teenage years due to affiliation with a radical anarchist group, Myka was forcibly enlisted into the military’s Combat Hound experiment program as punishment. Ironically, Myka’s punishment was considered by her captors to be a form of mercy - the rest of her group (including her girlfriend Lilith) was publicly executed for the crimes of vandalism and arson. In contrast, Myka received a supposedly “lesser” charge of “community service” for writing and distributing political pamphlets. The Combat Hound program involved months of psychological brainwashing and technological augmentation, with the goal of turning her into the perfectly trained and obedient killing machine to be let loose on her former political allies. After a few years of service as a Combat Hound, the fascist government of Myka’s country collapsed during intense political turmoil and escalating ecological crises. Remaining members of the Combat Hound program were subsequently relocated and rehabiliated as part of an extensive nonprofit charity campaign during the country’s post-war reconstruction period.
Despite now attempting to live a normal human life, Myka retains many of her combat implants, which are no longer functional and could not be safely removed by surgical procedures. These include a prosthetic left arm and a cybernetically enhanced left eye. She deals with insecurities regarding her relative lack of humanity through intense sexual masochism, as her ability to feel pain reminds her that she is still human. Although she is perfectly capable of normal speech, she chooses to remain silent by choice and does not engage with sign language, almost entirely eschewing communication with other people. She occasionally speaks with close friends, but uses as few words as possible when doing so, choosing to express herself through facial expressions and body language. The trauma from her past has caused her to completely disengage from contemporary politics, though she does still have some lingering sympathies for anarchism. Myka is also a passionate metalhead, almost exclusively listening to genres such as metalcore, post-hardcore, and their various derivative subgenres. Her favorite bands include The Fall Of Troy, Deftones, and HORSE The Band.
Glyph Silke she/her/they/them
Glyph is an anthropomorphic mothgirl with a bubbly outgoing personality. Despite primarily presenting as female, Glyph occasionally adopts a more masculine persona under the name Sigil. While Glyph usually wears a beige floral dress, navy blue jeans, and a tawny leather belt, Sigil prefers to dress in black jeans, a button-up long-sleeved white shirt, a dark red tie, and a pink baseball cap. Glyph’s primary occupation is performing as a DJ for a local community radio station, typically playing hyperpop tracks from artists such as SOPHIE and Iglooghost, then working various random chores for the station when she’s not on air. She tends to speak in seemingly random cryptic phrases and non-sequitors that sometimes border on prophetic just as much as they are completely meaningless.
Like all moths, Glyph’s wings shed a fine dust known as moth powder, which contains mild hallucinogenic and/or aphrodisiac properties if inhaled by a human. In some cases, it has been documented to have healing properties. Also like all moths, Glyph maintains a psychic connection to a transcendetal deity known as the Lunar Mother, who exists outside of reality. The Lunar Mother is the divine mother of moths, and any moth who dies will revisit the Lunar Mother for a brief period before being reincarnated into the world anew. Once a month, moths are able to request a blessing from the Lunar Mother to receive a vision from either a past or future reincarnation of themselves in order to receive information that may help them in the present day.
Pastel Amore she/her/it/its
Pastel is a humanoid angelgirl who was banished to Earth for violating the commandment of “thou shalt not covet” after having accidentally fallen in love with another angel. The seperation from her divine bretheren in Heaven has left her with lasting attachment anxiety, though she is quick to deny this when the topic comes up. Despite her punishment, she still retains many of her angelic powers such as flight, telekinesis, and telepathy. As an angel, the servant of God's strength and will, Pastel is the emobidment of the Freudian Superego and therefore holds firm moral convictions. At best, this takes the form of remarkable self-discipline. At worst, she is stubborn to a fault. She is also asexual and a chaste virgin. Having received minor training in the art of fighting demons, Pastel is easily overpowered by physical strength at close-range but is able to magically summon a golden spear or trident at will, which can then be controlled using telekinesis to attack enemies from a safe distance. Her halo will also burn any creature with a moral alignment other than Lawful Good if touched.
Nora Longbird she/her/they/them
[OMITTED]
Original Characters
Paige Cardinal they/them
Paige is a nonbinary security guard working various spaceships maintenance jobs amidst ongoing mecha warfare between an imperial empire and an opposing rebellion. They were born as a natal male with partial androgen insensitivity syndrome and spent most of their childhood on Earth. During their work as a security guard, Paige was enlisted as part of the SAMAP (Semi-Autonomous Military Asset Program) and had their genome scanned into a genetic template for cloning mech pilots. Such clones were deemed ideal because it was argued that they would not subject to the standard regulations for ethical treatment of normal human pilots. Paige’s clones are officially designated with the initials PC, followed by a random four digit code (i.e PC-1337), but Paige's genomic template was leaked during an act of military sabotage, and now any group with sufficient technology is capable of creating their own unregistered clones. As such, there are now countless clones of Paige engaged in mecha warfare across various forms of combat on both sides of the war, and undoubtedly many more in other illicit areas such as organ harvesting or sexual slavery. Due to the limitations of the cloning process, Paige clones will have slightly differing personalities and apperances, but most remain functionally identical. Paige clones are often bullied by their military peers for allegedly lacking souls and are prone to developing what has been dubbed as “Rapid Onset Metaphysical Psychosis.” Paige clones who encounter each other typically form intense sexual relationships, often within the span of just a few hours, for reasons that are still being studied.
Rosemary Williams it/its
Rosemary was an young adult human female studying journalism at university. In addition to her studies, she passionately pursued a hobby as an independent paranormal investigator, uploading videos of her research to YouTube. This typically included secondary archival research and urban explorations of supposedly haunted locations. During one such exploration, Rosemary accidentally fell through a crack in her reality and was transported to an alternate dimension where she found herself in the mansion of a powerful mage. As punishment for trespassing, the mage transformed Rosemary into one of their several identical clockwork maid dolls, replacing her human flesh with wood and metal. Now just a living object, Rosemary spends all day running errands for its new owner, sleeping in a closet furnished with pillows at night. It lacks the ability to speak of its own volition, but has a pullstring that allows it to either repeat a phrase that has just been given to it or to answer a question that has been asked to it. An answer can only be played once, but a given phrase will be repeated with every pullstring activation until it is replaced by a new phrase. As a side-effect of living in the alternate dimension, Rosemary has forgotten almost all memories about its former human life, such as its family, friends, occupation, and so on. The only thing it can still cling onto is the name Rosemary - for now, at least.
Maytra Cir she/her
Maytra is a half-orc ranger living on the planet Golarion. Her preferred weapon of choice is a hornbow and arrows, alongside a falchion for close-range combat. Travelling between regions in the Avistan continent, she is always accompanied by her tiger companion Lazarus, who has been by her side since childhood. Maytra is introverted and stubborn to a fault, but also deeply protective of any companions she makes on her travels.
